Mr Jack Davison
Chairman & Fisheries Officer
Jack has been a member of the club for 22 years and a committee member (albeit with some breaks due to working away) since 2012. Since 2019 he has been the clubs Fisheries Officer, and also took on the role of Chairman in 2021. Jack has an IFM qualifications in Fisheries Management, and works in a Senior Management role in the manufacturing sector. Jack also runs Intuifish Ltd, a local fishery management resource company.
Mr Steve Cook
Treasurer & Assistant Fisheries Officer
Steve first joined the Club at the age of 14 in 1974 and has been actively involved with the running of the Club in various roles from the late eighties onwards. His first position was as Match Secretary from 1989 to 1998. Then Treasurer from 1997 to the present day with a stint as Chairman from 2016 to 2021. He’s recently taken early retirement from being a Mechanical Designer all his life, ending in being Manager from the early 2000’s, of a team designing test machines for the Diesel Industry.
Mrs Sarah Cook
Secretary
Sarah was invited into the Club in her early twenties to replace the existing Club Secretary who wanted to retire. It was 1989 when she started, and has been doing the job ever since. Sarah was medically retired from her position as switchboard operator at Colchester Police Station in 2020. Since then she has divided her time between Paxman’s and Girl Guiding, where she runs 2 Rainbow units and 2 Brownie units.
